In the third quarter of 2024, the tools apps category in Oceania witnessed notable trends across the top five applications on the unified platform. Here's a closer look at their performance based on Sensor Tower data.

PDF Reader saw a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads, starting at about 9.7K in early July and peaking impressively at 78.6K by early September. However, the app experienced a sharp decline by the end of September. Weekly active users followed a similar pattern, with numbers rising from 17.8K to a peak of 102.8K, before settling around 60.8K at the quarter's close.

Samsung Smart Switch Mobile maintained a steady presence in the market. Its weekly downloads remained relatively stable, peaking at 18.2K in August. Active user numbers showed a gradual decline from 47K in early August to around 32K by the end of September.

QR & Barcode Scanner experienced consistent download numbers, with a notable peak of 12.2K in late August. Its active user base remained stable, hovering around 69K throughout the quarter, with minor fluctuations.

PDF Viewer＆Scanner showed a remarkable increase in downloads, starting from a modest 72 in early August and reaching 35.3K by late September. The active user count also saw a significant rise, growing from 1K to 32.3K over the same period.
